Firm History
|
Established in 1970 by Jim Johnson, AIA, the firm practice originated in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1987, the Columbus office was opened. There Joseph Henderson, AIA, joined the firm in 1988. Wanting to establish a presence in the Capitol City, the firm partnered with Richard McNeel, AIA in 1990, and thus services were offered throughout central Mississippi. JBHM has had a presence in North Mississippi for many years, and in 2003 JBHM expanded into Tennessee by locating in downtown Memphis. Michael Jones, AIA became partner in 2005 in the Tupelo office. Following Hurricane Katrina later that same year, JBHM's clients on the Mississippi Gulf Coast were in great need of assistance. This provided JBHM the opportunity to relocate it's South Mississippi office to the Gulf Coast in early 2006. JBHM operates as one company with offices strategically located to provide local delivery that is exemplary, responsive and cost efficient on a regional basis. |
