Project Description

TThe Jackson County Board of Supervisors hired JBHM Architects to design a new Jackson County
Services Complex. This two level building is elevated above the ground to alleviate flood surge and sits
across from the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Pascagoula. It houses twelve departments
with almost 200 employees total working all together under the same roof. Brought on by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, this $12 million dollar new facility was funded by a grant through the Mississippi
Development Authority.
