The Moss Point Fire Station is a 9,400 SF facility located on Bellview Street. The new two story, three bay Facility consists of reinforced concrete masonry unit (CMU) wall with the western portion of the building (living quarters, office, kitchen, etc.) hardened to meet FEMA 361 standards for Community Safe Rooms and the eastern portion of the building (apparatus bays) upgraded under a “wind retro-fit” FEMA 404. Additionally, a CDBG Grant was awarded to the City of Moss Point to improve and enlarge the facility. Both the east and west portions of the new facility utilized the FEMA 404 funds for the 361 Community Safe Room and Wind Retro-Fit.
