JBHM WELCOMES LAUREN DENHAM TO TEAM

Brandon BishopThe partners of JBHM Architects, P.A. announced the recent addition of Lauren Denham to serve as Communication Coordinator for each of the firm's five offices: Biloxi, Columbus, Jackson and Tupelo, Miss. and Memphis, Tenn.

"We are pleased to welcome Lauren to our team,"said Marketing Director Kiley Ham.  "She has a great deal of expertise in the area of public relations, and she will be a great asset to our communication and marketing efforts."

Denham is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communication, emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Business. With over 7 years experience in sales, marketing and public relations, she has worked with business large and small on creative marketing strategy, event planning and promotion, copywriting, media buying and ad placement. Denham recently served as Vice Chairman for the Young Professionals of Meridian organization.

"I'm delighted about joining the JBHM team," said Denham.  "I look forward to working with such an innovative firm. I am very excited about the communication experiences as well as the public relation opportunities that I know this company will provide."


BRANDON BISHOP RECEIVES LEED AP ACCREDITATION

Brandon BishopJBHM Architects is pleased to announce that Brandon Bishop, LEED AP, Assoc. AIA, has received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accreditation. Bishop, who works in the Tupelo office as an intern architect, passed the LEED AP exam in June.

According to theU.S. Green Building Council, "LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System."

Bishop, a graduate of Mississippi State University School of Architecture, has over five years of experience in the architecture field. His professional experience includes educational, governmental, corporate, and medical facilities. His primary responsibilities are document production and project management.  With an understanding of the intricate aspects of architectural and engineering design, Bishop is an added strength to the JBHM team.
